I'm having a weird issue with my clutch pedal when I release the pedal there is a click at the top like it's sticks and then the spring finally throws it all the way into the up position with an audible click.
The clutch has been changed out within a thousand miles ago and I replace the broken clutch return spring at that time any ideas? It has been fine in that time frame but just now started doing it

Cable starting to fray? Disconnect the cable at the arm and have some one hold it tight while you work the pedal by hand to see if it's in the cluster or cable. Make sure it's not sticking on something on the floor where the pedal stop is.

sometimes the cable end will wear a groove in the hook on the pedal assy and it will click as it pops in and out of the worn spot
