Somehow I am missing the 8mm case stud between the cam plug and 12mm main stud on my AS41 type 1 case. Do they sell these separately or do I have to find an old junk case for a donor? It appears that it should be longer than the other 8mm stud below the cam plug. I can pay if someone has one they want to sell.

| Threads are good and still there. I had this case machined at Brothers about 5 years ago and stored in my attic since. I just started mocking up my new street engine and realized I was missing this stud. |

Try putting a wanted add in the classifieds.
Someone probably has a bunch of them or at least some junk cases they could rob. |

It would be acceptable to replace it with all-thread.
While the stock hardware is very good quality steel, it's not high strength.
8.8 or better will be an improvement.
That stud also commonly pulls out, so installing a time-sert now would be wise, although can be difficult job to do due to it's close proximity to the main stud. |

| I always strip all the studs from a trash case. aFter I have used it for linebore checker, it has served its purpose. :lol: |
