This bus was found in Ayottes junkyard in Oxford, Maine several years ago. It was rescued by a friend of mine with the hope of resurrecting it. We are going to get body back together so my friend can get his bus back on the road! Overall, the bus is in good shape. It needs the usual repairs. It is mint compared to the last two projects I have been involved with. The day it arrived:

After a brisk tear down:

Some of the metal being prepped for fitment:

After a little clean up:

It needs a spare tire tray. The gas heater stuff won't be going back in. I made this when I built the tray for my son's 15 window:

After some chopping:

There looks like only one bad spot in the frame. This will get fixed first:

To be continued...

Here are a few more "before" photos. The sunny day pictures were taken by my son the day we first saw the bus, and the snowy bus photos were taken by the owner when he was getting the bus ready for the trip to our shop:

This bus is in good shape compared to the 15 window and the 21 window. It’s like it’s almost done!

It’s been sitting in our shop patiently waiting its turn. It’s a cool bus, and should be a decent project!
Thanks mtnbus!
