Fellas,
getting ready to change the gear oil in my 67' and I noticed it has two drain plugs. Some of the swing axles I've seen only have one drain plug. But I noticed it only has one fill plug. Is there a reason for this?

| VW just made some changes the case. It's all good and nothing to worry about. |

| US spec cars had 2 drain plugs thru 69 year, 70 started the single plug and later pinion bearing. The sa cars in Mexico had 1 plug, late tob and early pinion bearing. |

| Loosen the fill plug BEFORE removing the drain plug(s). |
