A few years back Modok was kind enough to send me a crankshaft he'd been using as a paperweight in his kitchen and it's currently in my Split.
The engine in the kitchen really ties the room together. So used to having a powerplant in here the room looks weird w/o one. |

| Ive built lots of stuff in the kitchen, the body to my 27 roadster was in there for many years before I built the shop. as for the the drum sticks I like them although I put the heads on then put each tube in and light check to be sure they are gonna seal.never an issue.no leeks no rust no dents or deformity's. I dont /wont use the oe style.IMHO like 99% of the other oe vw engine parts they are inferior. |

That reminds me of this scene in Taxi Driver.
Years ago a glam-metal drummer showed me how to twirl sticks like dude in the clip above.
Had to do a field repair on a ranch buggy yesterday, swapping in a new head. Brought the sticks along, glad I did. |

Yep you need a post like this to clear your mind.
If I did not see the drum sticks and the conversation was over a phone, I would have thought Chicken or Turkey.
That would be one hell of a mess. |

Wifey will allow gun parts in the bedroom or closet/s. But NOT engine parts!
The kitchen rebuild was a one-time deal when we were in an apt. I had an idea once to use the dishwasher but did not. I got me a proper washer for engine stuff. :lol:
I bought a used washer for my garage clothes. And now it is about to go extinct and may have to sneak my clothes in the new washer. Hmmn... :P |

Rubber hammers, wood, brass, lead, long and skinny, big and fat, flat face, radius, dead blows, and all combinations of the above, in every size.
If your bigger hammer is not working, probably using it wrong, or it's not the right kind of hammer for the job. Or maybe the wrong operator.
