Should I use loctite on my case studs and what would the torque be?
I'm thinking 6-8lbs. over actual head torque.
Am I wrong?

Am I wromg?
The case insert?
Or the head stud, into the case insert?

For an insert into the case, I recently used loktite 518 (anaerobic) sealer.
YMMV

I use red loctite for the insert to case threads, and Loctite 592 for studs into the inserts. Always better to have a stud come out and leave the insert tight in the case

Just thread them in by hand so that they end up just below the case. Use red thread locker on them.
