I just saw this setup and wondered if it would be a good solution for cases that are not drilled for full flow.

Looks like it remove the spring and piston, so how does that effect the stock oil cooler bypass?
I think you're better off with and in/out oil pump.

It looks like there is a spring and piston in the picture - lower left corner.
How would the oil flow past the piston? This is confusing. |

The hopped up 1600 in my 1960 bug uses that method and it runs great. Oil pressure & temps are spot on |
