Once you close up the case you don't see them again until it goes BOOM.

Yeah in general the quality level of.....mid level aftermarket rods is headed downhill for sure, they just aren't trying very hard anymore.

But, thr bright side of that, is the new stuff being dirt cheap also drives down the price of used parts.
Same with the carbs.
You can get a crusty 44IDF for like 50$ now that china has flooded the market with poor quality new ones.
Shame the DRLA copies didn't catch on yet, I want some 50$ 45 drlas :wink:


Buy some old carillo or eagle rods and have....someone... fix them up, then you can have the best of all worlds.
