I just picked up a swing axle rear drive assembly. In trying to find out the R&P that came with it, I looked at the charts and ALL of the charts have AH as a '68 IRS with a 4.125 R&P.
Can IRS transaxles be converted to swing axles?

| I belive irs CAN be converted to swing axle, IF it is a dual side cover transmission. |

That would explain how the AH code says IRS, but it's a swing axle.
