I have a flywheel that the customer ran with a bad ignition switch and chewed the teeth away. Does anyone know the measurment of the inside of the starter ring.
My machinest wants to know before starting. Any help Please Thanks Tom |

now i duno , but have heard you can flip the ring over to the good side ??? heat it up to expand n flip it ? im sure its a bit more complacated than that ?
this guy makes it look super easy to flip or replace em . i have never done it . i paid i think it was Rimco to do it for for me long long ago . that was the go to machine shop for some time in Santa Ana CA , long ago . i only lived a mile away . i think i went from a 6 to a 12 volt ring .

Wouldn't be easier just to get a new flywheel? Especially a stock one? |

There is no standard ring gear size for all cars and trucks
Would need to know the part number of the ring gear or what vehicle it was intended for
use .001-.0015 per 1 press fit |
