I’m biased because of a personal connection to Devins bands. You might know him from his work with Steve Vai or his former band Strapping Young Lad. Arange of almost 6 octaves makes him technically a great rock singer and I really like his styles. This is more easy listening than his other works.

Although not a rock singer, at the time this was very remarkable.
Whitney Houston singing the Star Spangled Banner in 1991, not long aftet the Gulf war
Still gives me goose bumps as a proud Vietnam Vet, when I hear her sing it. Whitney nailed it like nobody else
