From the book, Volkswagen: A Week at the Factory

A German photographer spent a week at Wolfsburg in 53, shooting the mills, presses, huge stacks of stamped panels, etc. It's a photography book primarily, whose subject happens to be VW.

Old photograph of what appears to be a 1962 Notchback interior from a fire or police vehicle. Note Telefunken 2-way radio, big button glove box, white shift knob, indicator next to ash tray, and vinyl instead of cloth seat upholstery.
