| Karcey built speedster (and Karcey/Guard parts tester), Hot & Sticky. Quite fast for 1986... 9.36@146 (on gas). Featured in Hot VW's 20-year anniversary issue. Raced for less than a year, but still a record holder for 6 months. 1st pass ever, 10.61. 2nd pass ever, 10.01. Faster each race weekend, bypassing the 9.40s altogether; retired after record setting 9.36 run. |
