Hey guys I am building a baja. It is a 64 model car so it is link pin as of now . I am kindly on a budget but i want to go the right direction at the start . I know alot of desert buggies and baja's run link pin. but most of them are so tricked out the stock parts are rarely used . what front end \spindles , etc are better\ stronger. i live in tenn. so there are alot of rocks, ditches, and mud . Thanks alot _________________ We are a Republic, NOT a Democracy |

| seems like most people who have balljoint beams are looking for ways to get more travel or going to link pin beams. Unless you are going A arms or whatever leave it as is. You can switch out to a wider beam or one with more travel. |

Leave it link pin! Even with stock parts you will get better travel and dependablity.
If later you decide to upgrade to tougher componants you could check here:
http://www.tweedsdesigns.com/main.htm
They have some great deals on HD parts for play bugs/buggies. |

Ive heard somewhere that stock balljoint is stronger than stock link pin? But I dont know personally. I really want to have link pins in myself because I never really trusted balljoints for some reason. Even if you opted to have balljoints you would need to do some work to your front end which isnt really needed. who knows maybe down the road you will want a wider beam so you can just bolt a nice link pin beam up later i would say leave the link pins focus on the rear if anything(swing axles) _________________ 1970 Baja
