Does anyone know if the bracket for a beetle or bay will work on mounting the tube to a split bus?

it is the name for the clutch cable tube that mounts to the side of the transmission...

When I replaced my trans years ago, I left out the bowden tube for the accelerator. I recently had to replace my trans yet again and when I was removing the trans, I found the accelerator cable had sawed through one of the ribs in the trans case and was the last thing holding it in, the accel. cable had embedded itself in the trans case.

I used a bowden tube from Wolfsburg West this time for the accelerator cable, much smoother pedal operation and now I don't need two return springs on my carb.

I am still using my OG clutch cable bowden tube, works fine still.

the bowden tube that I have is 111721361B...it seems like it is too long and I cannot reference this part number to make it work....any thoughts?
