Are both top and bottom ball joints concentric for adjusting camber or just the top one. I have replaced both top and bottom ball joints and after adjusting the top one 90 degrees out the wheel still has positive camber. _________________ ____________________________________________________

				| Both are eccentric, but ideally you only adjust the tops, so you don't mess up the steering lock angles. |

There is usually a mark on the end of the ball stud that faces forward as a starting point. You then turn the uppers up to 90 degrees each way.

If you really can't adjust to get the right camber, something is bent, like a torsion arm or the beam. |

I might be crazy, but when I turn the tops I can see the roter lean in and out but when I turn the bottoms I can see any movement. _________________ ____________________________________________________

the car is on jack stands and I'm using a floor jack to hold up the lower control are to "Ride hight". When I turn the upper balljoint I can see the top of the rotor lean out and then back in and I sping the ball joint, but I dont see any movement when i spin the bottom one. _________________ ____________________________________________________

Unfortunately, the BJ front ends are harder to diagnose bent parts on than the link/kingpin setups on the old bugs. For those you just needed a couple of straightedges. You need jigs for the BJs.
