Dan gurney center caps

I have dan gurney wheels on my bug but am missing the center caps. I was wondering if I could just buy some regular chrome caps from cip1 as long as they are the right size?

I found some plastic/chromed bullet style caps on Ebay for mine. I had to heat up the mounting tabs and bend them out a little to get a good snug fit.

I bought some caps that slide in from the back and had the wheels cut with a taper on the back side of the center cap holes to hold the caps tight. Let me know if you want pictures.
