what are you guys running on big street motors? stock? poly? CB rhino? solid?
I'm bolting in my 2276 turbo soon and need to get the mounts. I have a 74 so I'm converting the rear mounts the the older style. planning on running a mid mount and kafer bar setup too. |

I don't think the traction bar will clear the header/turbo. hd mounts are rubber or poly?
kafer bar / truss bar
image not mine, the three red bars are the kafer bar/truss bar setup

Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor. |

It's a Berg 5 so it has a special Berg mount.

Think the stock front mount will be fine with a mid mount? or has anyone seen an hd front mount for a 74? |

And if that's not enough, throw in a rear engine hanger. _________________

Yeah, but your only making 108hp .
I'm using OEM heavy duty (grey) rubber mounts, Mohr mid mount, Fast Fab Kafer brace and a Berg engine hangar using Bugpack bolt on mounts. _________________ John Bates

Remove the bars that are in the way? Or if it's IRS, it's really a non issue. I don't know anyone that drops an IRS 'box with the shafts still on it, do you? _________________ Build thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=212747
