This is not a thread about lowering a type 3 (although I will be doing that in a couple of weeks).......................
I run a 64 Razor Ghia that unfortunately sits approx 1" lower on the driver's side (RH drive car) than on the left hand side. Maybe the car has been parked on a prvious owners sloping driveway or maybe he ate too many pies! The suspension is still stock height and I have bought 4 new shocks ready to lower the car in a couple of weeks time - just a little, but I wonder if I can correct the car's stance at teh same time?
So my question is this: Can I adjust the drivers side by 1 spline less than the passengers side, therefore levelling the car without causing problems in driving / handling / safety or do I need new leaf springs?
Thanks in anticipation for your replies - I have never posted a thread on here that has NOT resulted in the info / advice that I needed! Thanks Guys! |

Yes -- that is how you adjust for side to side differences -- you can also play with inner/outer spline adjustments to dial in just the correct adjustment. -- It is all explained in the sticky on lowering. _________________ Thanks
