I need those dimensions also! PS you should put a 1/2" dia steel bar, offset to one side, inside the pillows to keep them from rolling around on the back seat. Or you can use (uuggh) velcro.

Hey great idea on the steel bar. Maybe even instead make a sand bag "log" (a little more safe than steel bar in accident) and sew it in to the padding. Or a fine lead "shot bag"....

I'm redoing the upholstery in my '50 and will be making new pillows. GREAT idea, I hated those things rolling all over the place....!

John, stick to the steel bar pillow, it'll make a great stealth "Kafer" billy club. Wink

Double-sided carpet tape works well with the OG ones. Wink

Mine are 14.75" long and 7.75" in diameter. They are not in the original upholstery, but I think they are original other than that. I can feel the cardboard tube inside.

Thanks for those measurements John, BTW, sounds like a roll of " Bounty" paper towels was used to fill your pillow. Laughing

Quite possible. One of my kids spilled a Big Gulp back there last summer and it just disappeared, I swear...
