Bought a rebuilt transaxle from Rancho for my '55bug. I get the car home after restoration it develops a leak on the right side at the axle tube housing. Talked to Sam at Rancho and he wanted to make me happy. He talked to Clarences in Riverside NJ, who is going to do the fix, and Rancho will take care of the repair costs. Good to see people stand behind their product. |

RANCHO is a great outfit! I purchased a transmission from one of their dealers. UPS was rough on it and bent the hockey stick.
Rancho stepped up and sent me a new one. Not even their responsibility.
I would buy from these guys in a heart beat! |

I have been selling Rancho Trannys for over 8 years. Over 200 trannys with less then 4 problems overall. These were customers trannys and between Rancho and myself the problems were taken care of asap and all my customers were totaly satisfied with their service and transmissions. _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

I was pointed to Rancho by Steve at Wolfgang's and I'm glad he did.
About a year after I originally purchased the transaxle, a pro street swing axle model, I developed a bearing type noise.
Long story short, I called Rancho, talked to Sam and he assured me I'd be taken care of and I was.
They went threw the whole thing and I had my trans back in less than two weeks. I had also sent Sam my axles and side gears for inspection. Everything came back in such good shape I thought it might be all new. It wasn't, they blasted the axles while they had them and the trans had received new paint. The attention to detail was at my standards.
I would have liked to know exactly what was making the noise but I can live with Rancho making the call to just do a complete rebuild. I've worked in a dealer environment and understand that sometimes you just don't have the time to diag the problem.....and get paid for it.
Highly recommend Rancho, excellent product and customer service. |

Just got off the phone with Sam, I called to order up a new nosecone because I warped it when I installed the trans. He insisted on sending me one free of charge. I was also way out of warranty time wise. These guys are a first rate operation. If you ever need anything trans realted call them. _________________ 63 T1 Ragtop Gulf Blue

I just bought a set of bearing retainer caps from Rancho. Not sure who I talked to, but when I explained that I wanted weep hole caps for a short axle to replace the open style the '63 came with, he assured me he'd send the right ones, with washers.
I got them yesterday and they are the proper 311501311 caps with slingers that I need. They were even blasted clean. Great price too. _________________ Andy

I just put one in a customer's car yesterday. No problems at all. I got full tour of their shop when I was out for the classic. Very clean and organized. _________________ I will never lie, but sometimes the truth changes.
