tail lights

I've late oval from '55 ('56) and there are tail lights from 62-67. Now I want to change to original ones but appeared problem. I don't know in which point put them down on fenders. Is somewhere original parametres?

Hope this helps. This is for a snowflake tail light, so it will be right for you.
