I'm not sure how old my Hella washer is but it was in my oval when I bought it. It has an electric pump behind the dash wire cover but I don't have a picture of it.

Guys I'm building a car with a big ida motor/berg 5 tranny. But its loaded with period accesories. Pealit, trip speedo, dehne, perohaus,etc. With this type of build which would you reccomend. I don't want to run the easy one. But I want everything on the car to be functional..... Cool

I've seen the glass bottle installed in several areas in the front trunk area. Next to the hood hinge, behind the glovebox is the most popular. I've also seen the bottle mounted next to the brake reservoir.

The little bottle is a plastic squeeze bottle that adjusts to whatever position you want. It doesn't hold much, but it works well.

And yes, it is genuine VW:
