16mm not available anywhere. I asked ATE to make them, but the investment would been too high.

If the 19mm cylinders are still available you could have them sleeved down to 16mm and have the metal pistons turned down to fit. You would need to provide 16mm rubber pistons.

There are companies that do this in stainless or brass for repairing corroded bores.

I too am in need of rear wheel cylinders for my 1950. Can one use the slightly later units (53-7 I believe) with no other changes?

Oval two bolt cylinders will bolt right on with no modifications.
