Has anyone run these on a mild baja? 215/75/15 tires, stock height.

I guess I just wonder if they overheat? Fox’s are like 1600$ and there doesnt seem to be a lower entry point into VW Class 11 shocks.

Thanks.

I guess the Bilstein M7100s are about the same $ for the 2” non res models.

That might be better.

Bilstein makes a basic class 11 type shock that is costly but way less expensive then the fox. Forget at the moment what ones I have but i think are a few hundred bucks. I will say that I don’t know for sure but I suspect that it is unlikely to over heat any shocks unless you are all out racing. I used the cheap stock KYB gas shocks for years and they seemed to work well. Don’t know if they ever overheated but I got years of decent service from them.
The bilsteins I have now give a much smoother ride.

On a Full fender lifted baja with street and plenty of dirt time.

Im gonna go withthe M7100s front and back, hard to find, but only 120$ each. I decided not to get the res. Ones, as i think you are right, i am not gonna get them that hot.
