You have Type 3 manifolds... really short.

Look at the picture i posted and you can see the top of the manifold is much higher.

Here's an old pic of a standard Type 1 manifold with a ruler.

Ah yes, you’re right. Meant to say Type 3. I tried every combo of intake, so getting them mixed up.

Correct. However, I never said there was a problem with the shroud as you are alluding to, only that “I wish they would make a version that fits type 1 manifolds”, corrected to read type 3.

They made a copy of the OE shroud. It's safe to assume you'd have the same problem with a OE shroud.

For the sake of future readers, here's how dual Dells on CB manifolds work with the Cooled shroud. I love the fit, carbs have enough space to install in the engine bay and when bolted down aren't contacting the shroud at all. The pics make it look like the carbs are closer than they are in reality.
