Yes rear view is crap in mine and I have mirrors that don't work well. Not to mention it's getting hard to turn my head around some days. A backup camera would be good. Just to watch people while sitting at a red light would be good _________________ Brian H.

Orangecrusher, we had a blast on Lincoln Hills trails in Irons a couple years ago. I've Heard Tin Cup is pretty good by Baldwin, a little more challenging from what I hear. I'm from Battle Creek & always looking for new places & people to ride with. |

Yes I remember having a lot of fun by Lincoln Hills back in the day. Seems like there was plenty of fireroads and places to roam. When I think of Tin Cup Im thinkng of the dirt bike trails, but Baldwin has a lot to offer.
I'm really trying hard to get one of my rigs in driving shape this year. I'd like to spend some Saturdays up north and meeting new peeps would be great. _________________ Brian H.

Calling out all you Michiganders
starting at least by May, I'll be up for trails on weekends. I don't have my truck out of storage yet to pull a trailer but a few more nice days... my woodsbuggy is finally ready and hopefully before long my baja as well. I'm out of the west side by Muskegon / Grand Haven area but with enough warning I'm up for anywhere especially if you have a good route planned. It's been some time since I've been exploring so I've lost track of all my fav trails, but I hope to change all that this year. Wouldn't mind meeting some new people and finding new places to explore.

I can’t wait to get riding. Sadly, a recent surgery has made driving stick shift difficult. Although it was several weeks ago, still not going to be doing any bouncing around and using the clutch for a couple more weeks. Hopefully back in good shape by mid-May. Man, I am way too young for this crap. Haha. _________________ 1800 Type 4 Berrien 295

I hear ya. Don't tell anyone but I turn 50 this year. Last year I was really wondering if I still had it on me. Then I went to St. Helen. _________________ Brian H.

I just have to say, it's been some time for me and there were no SXSs on the trails then. I can't say I'm thrilled to share trails with them after seeing what they do last fall... _________________ Brian H.

I would be up to meeting some new folks and putting some miles on the trails. Throw out a couple weekends. About 45 minutes out side of Grand Rapids so not too far from Baldwin area for riding. |

I have the weekend of May 18-19, 2024 open. Can you make that work? I would be down for riding whenever. |

I think I'm free then.
Anyone else?

Saturday's best for me. Sounds like I have some more people interested in a Baldwin area ride which means more forest roads type terrain which is good if this will be a first outing for most. _________________ Brian H.

Baldwin ride next weekend if anyone's interested. I'll be spending this Saturday getting all my rigs ready for the trip. _________________ Brian H.

I still need to give my sandrail the once over before the weekend, but I’ll be ready. Do you have a time and location for meeting up? |

Sorry for the delay. I was busy this morning giving mine a once over.
Meeting at 10:30 am. I have someone else who's leading the group and he says there should be parking for trailers there. Tin Cup Springs ORV

I'm pretty sure my rig is ready but I haven't run it in warm weather yet so I'm hoping my cooling system can handle it. I ran it for a full day last fall but it was really cold out.
I have one other annoyance that's been on going for awhile now. My fuel tank sender doesn't seem to want to work with my gage. I've done a lot of research and worked on it in the past. I got it to work last year, but next time I went to use it nothing. It's a VDO setup. They're supposed to be matched together. I think the potentiometer in the sender is junk. It's too bad because it's hardly been used.
Good thing I have a 11 gallon tank! _________________ Brian H.

Sounds good to me. Yes, tin cup does have a fair amount of parking, so that will be good. Looking forward to riding! |
