My transmission is noisy in 3rd and very noisy in 4th when I lay off the gas pedal.
In the video, the car is up in the air idling and in 4th gear.
Who can identify this clanking noise? It's coming from the front of the transmission. I drained the transmission fluid and there wasn't much on the magnetic drain plug.

it might be interesting to block one wheel and then the other so see if the noise changes. _________________ -dan

It's coming all the way from the front of the transmission and the same noise is there when in 4th gear and letting off the throttle. It's a bit less noisy in 3rd.
1st and 2nd are different noisy and the builder said that will quiet down within the first 1000 miles. |

The rebuilder said something must have failed inside and are sending me a new transmission on Monday. |
