Ok I just got some nos T3 side trim. Upon test fitting I discovered that it dosnt compleetly fit? Anyone have this stuff? I know that if I cut it back it will be fine but shouldnt it fit perfect?

I was hoping one of the more wise men here could shed some light? Ever dealt with these Russ, Tram? And no it dosnt bend. Not unless I want to distort it or cut a relief.

I'd be interested to see the box it came in. I had a set that was the dealer VWoA approved and it fit like a glove. The trim might need some tender loving care to make it fit, or use a hammer Mad

I`d leave it off then. I always thought that stuff looked a little to Pep Boys anyway.

That's what I was gonna suggest. I don't know if it's just the photo angle, but it doesn't look long enough in the picture to cover that whole upper curve of the door to the top, either, even if you COULD bend it.
Real T3 parts should fit exactly.

I think Ant gets the prize! You were a sick enough vw fan to know it was a 411 4 door. Im impressed. My gut guess too but not 4 door.

The story is I bought T3 trims, they came in a Rabit bag and fit a T4 Crying or Very sad Confused The guy I bought them from needed them for a Rabit, but of coarse they didnt fit.

Thanks for the info guys, I just wanted to make sure you didnt need to modify T3 ones or something.

Bwahahahaha, Jason finally got the dirty end of the stick on a "T-3" rare parts buy.
You win a few, and you loose a few.
J/K Jason, keep up the good shopping.
