Hey Kirk,
I'll be there, buying mostly. Waiting on some heads to show up for the Single. I might have to pull an all nighter Fri. to make things happen. I'll defiently be there though. _________________ Aaron D. Badertscher

i'm coming from East of Pittsburgh, Pa in Westmoreland County to go to this show of Saturday in Ohio.
Does anyone want to meet on the PA turnpike and cruize out together in a convoy?
heck even if there was 1 other person that are planning on going would be fun to cruize with. post a reply if you want to meet or e-mail me.
i'm planning on going out in my 68 beetle.. it would be cool to drive out with other VW's.
thank you _________________ Fresh Air VW Car Club

Is that show still happening? I thought it was a GASS event? Who took it over since GASS ran out of gas? _________________ -Jim DiGennaro, Samba lurker, Disc Jockey and LiMBO freak www.LiMBObus.org

It was a GASS event years and years ago. Troy H. and his Dad ran GASS, put out the newsletter. After Troy's Dad passed away he didn't continue with GASS. That's the story I always heard. Troy usually shows up every year. He's a sales guy at a VW dealership now.
"The Buckeye German Jubilee" still continued to happen. A few good hearted people donated a lot of time and effort to keep it alive... and continue to do so. The Tri-State VW Club helped for a few years. They kind of fizzled off here lately. Jim has kept it going. Jim's wondeful family and several club members work the event. Luckily it's real low key and doesn't take too much energy to be a sucess... compaired to other major events. _________________ Aaron D. Badertscher

Thats cool. I haven't heard from Troy since he was restoring that vintage race bug. He stopped coming to the New England shows a few years ago. I'd heard he'd moved on to other things, but the details were scarce. Thanks for the update. _________________ -Jim DiGennaro, Samba lurker, Disc Jockey and LiMBO freak www.LiMBObus.org
