Everett-
Could the phpBB search function for the forums support true extended regular expression searching? I realize that it does support a sort of quasi regular expression matching but could it support seaches like "[s-S]plit [b-B]u*" or "[welded dash | smooth dash]" etc.

bummer...
I often find the search function a bit unwieldy
I assume the php language supports regexs is it that the database doesn't understand them?

keep up the great work!

The database support regex searches too, it's just that the program doesn't allow you to search that way
