Original tach for $245 on eBay

The text says something is wrong with it but I didn't totally understand the German translation.

According to a German speaking colleague; what it's saying is that if its connected to terminal 15 on the fuse box (like a gossen wires up) then it won't work - it has to have a wire run to the coil.

I guess other people were confused with the description - hence the price Smile
Of course there's nothing in the text to say it does work.
I'll let you know when it arrives.

Mike.

nos rubber things that replace a couple of your door hinge screw caps and are meant to stop rattling doors - not that they ever do rattle in the first place! lol

My brother used to have one of these in his 67 square. It was NOS when he got it. Its the only one I've ever seen. I think it ended up in Dave Orozco's black square?
Anyone got any pics of that square?? Especially the inside.

Hello from Germany, Mike.

Great find - yes the description of the tach is a little different from usual, so many people did not find it using a regular search.

This is the German text you mentioned:

Quote:

That translates to "That tach is good for rear engine cars also since the coil connection 15 must be run through the tach. Without using connection 15 through the tach it won't work".

So that means it is connected like the Gossen.

Regards Jörg

Here are some from my Kamei Catalog. Note Matching upholstery on squareback seats. Kamei offered interiors for Type 1's, Ghias, Type 34's and all type 3's. Anybody ever seen a car with this interiror? I have.

Yeah, that cover for a squareback is cool.

I recently bought a hood handle (beak-type) for an early Type 3. I just liked its unique shape.

Do you thinks guys it will look good on a fasty?

The true "early Type-3" didn't need any fancy embellishings, like a beak hood handle, to make it look good! Twisted Evil
