Is it possible to use Liquid Nail as a bonding agent to attach the pods to the body? I want to make it a 1-piece body, permanently on. I already trimmed and fit the pods so all i need is to glue eveyting and start filling gaps and levelling the body for paint.

I bet they'd stay on for a while at least. A two part epoxy adhesive would probably be best.

Are you going to fiberglass them on? It would hold long enough to do that

Go to the local auto body supply store and buy the correct adhesive for fiberglass.

Use correct polyester resin/cloth or epoxy/cloth and do it to proper "glassing" procedures, anything less will disappoint later when it fails...

Its kind of unforgiving to have finish crack and warp months after car is completed because of improper materials...

It won't hold up to the road flex, Ramon. You can temporarily anchor it with stuff like this http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/3m-panel-bonding-adhesive-38315-p-18604.aspx
Once set, then cover and fill the gaps with regular fiberglass and resin, fairing in the section.

Thanks for the responses, my 1st intensions was to use the resin and cloth but i wasnt sure if it would work for the pods. The arrows in the pic shows the spot where I have gaps and steps where the body curves by the rear fender. i was hoping i would find something to fill this area. i even am thinking on grinding the body thinner by the thicker and high areas so i can get a more step to fill.

My buggy has the black plastic vinyl trim that goes over the rough edges of the body. I was wondering what to do with it when the side pods are mounted, I would like a smooth look flow, and was thinking when I get to it, if I should fiberglass the sp and make it look like its all one piece?

"Resin and cloth" is for taking up the gaps after pods are fitted to body as best as possible....

I had gaps in mine at the ends like everyone else.Spent alot of time fitting and building up the gaps then used the bonding adhesive used in Corvette repair and then filled the seam with glass and resin.
It's been on the road for 4 years with no cracking etc. I think most body supply shops can get you the adhesive.
