I have opened up a T1 AE 1600 engine with hydraulic lifters.
I like a little help... were can I find data/maker of the cam shaft, the following is marked on the shaft end : R 60501 256-H

I seem to remember crower had ##'s like that. and so did crane cams. Im not sure about comp cams,but the 256 stamped on it does look like thier type of stamping.

I bet it is a Weber (not Web-Cam) grind.

That is a Crane number I am almost certain, but none of the info I collected mentioned hydraulic cams or "-h" at all. Crane has the info, I had them email me a scan of some old cards a few years ago, try calling them and see.

Today I have been in contact with Crane / Pauter - both say they did not fabricate this cam shaft .... still looking for help !
