Yes, my VW still has carbs and points. No EFI, electronic points replacements or other electronics to fail after a EMP. |
How does a crappy muffler make your points fail?
Our Evac plan is our summer place in the woods. We can survive for one month by ourselves. You have to get out of 5 days walking distance of any major metro area or people Wil simply take your stuff. Yes, even if you have guns, they will take your stuff.
Of course, if we can make it the boat on Lake Ontario we can survive even longer in season.
Seriously - this is a fun hobby but anyone who realistically thinks they can survive post apocolypse needs to adjust the reality shield. _________________ .ssS!

I was about 100 feet from a big cow elk today. That is what I call meat on the hoof. _________________ nothing |

We always have about a 1/2 dozen Moose around here the wife calls them her pets, even had one sleeping next to the house the other day... seems they read the paper and know when hunting season is as they disappear for duration and as soon as it's over they are back, now if I could just talk the wife into letting me put out a salt lick in the garage and leave the door open I have a sledge hammer in there or even a .22...? _________________ 66- Ghia

We have several moose that hang around town over the winter here, since it is easy for them to stay alive with plowed roads and fruit tree buds. I almost head butted one that was looking into my open mud room door a couple of years ago. I came about three feet from hitting it but I looked up just in time. _________________ nothing |

Why so many gun collections? Well..why do you have more than one pair of shoes? Or socks? Knives?
A firearm is a tool. I cannot imagine me having only one wrench.
Nine assault-type rifles? That is it?? That is not even a collection. When you get into the 'dozens', then you have a collection.
We have to keep America safe. I suggest you collect all the firearms you can get hold of. Not only are they a good investment but also functional. Even if you are not a hunter, it can put food on your table someday when stores no longer sell any.
I have my own deep well in my other garage. It was there since the 1900s and it still functions to this day.
Off-grid living is probably what I am trying to achieve. Some of us cannot survive without internet.
ONe should have enough skills to make it out of the city. I can only imagine what city-dwellers will do to each other if the food production ever halted for a month. |

It is a good idea to have at least one duplicate of your constant carry. If anything happens that you must use it, it will be confiscated as evidence until you are cleared of charges & you will be without it for a long time (at atime that the other party's friends & family may be looking for retribution(because after all, They didn't do nothin.)). During this time you will not be able to legally purchase a new firearm, but you can still carry if you already have another. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
