Who's going? Right on the bay and you can buy a badge that day. The ocean is close by, as well as Seaside Heights and Island Beach State Park. Last year there was a great turnout for a show that was put together w/ little time and had iffy weather. Bring any type VW you have in whatever condition it may be in and as long as it is older than 1980, you are good to go!!! No swap meet. sorry!

A crew from the South Jersey VW club will be there, finally, if the weather is good. Don't know how many yet but some of us will be there.

Nice! you guys won't be disappointed. the venue is very cool. if anyone has a lowered vehicle you may want to look for someone guiding you to a different spot to get up on the field then say a nonlowered vehicle so you don't bottom out!

I just scoped out the site today, and good news for the lowered vehicles!
We are moving the access point a little farther north in the park, to where the curb is nonexistent. All vehicles, stock and lowered should have NO PROBLEMS entering the show.
Just two blocks north of where it says in the poster. Brown St. instead of Philadelphia Ave. Its right there, no biggie. They are closing Philadelphia Ave. because they got a lot more Arts and Crafts vendors for that show.

They are also having a parade around 11am, so try to get parked at the show by 10:30am.

SEE YOU THERE!!!!

Looking forward to the show. Last year was a good show in the short amount of time you had to put it together. See you Sunday morning. Weather is also looking great

I'm planning to be there. It looks like it is right out on the outer banks of Jersey. This will be my first time out to the Jersey shore.

No swap..., I guess I'll have to leave my rare bus trinkets at home, unless I can unload some of them on Saturday;)

Look for me in the white and primer gray '65 DD panel.

The show is for pre-1980 VW's, but I'll make an exception for later buses, since we are Bus Owners North East, for cripe's sake.
You can come on in and park and join us for the show.
Just no watercooled sedans, except for pre-1980 rabbits, dashers, and scirroco's.

bring the sunblock! hopefully we'll get a nice breeze though. another key thing to remember is that those coming over the bridge from Toms River via the parkway is that Route 35N and Route 35S are one way roads. In my time living down the shore, i have seen way too many people headed the wrong way between ortley beach and mantoloking!!!

Well, its supposed to cool down to the low '80's by Sunday.
And as to the one way, what obus means is that they took two separate local roads way back when, and converted them into northbound and southbound one way two lane highways one block apart. When you cross over the middle block between, it looks like a regular residential road, and too many people turn North on the Southbound section, and vice versa.

A few of us from the South Jersey VW club will be coming up via RT. 70, is it still that bumpy ass road it was years ago or has it been paved all the way thru from Marlton the Lakehurst??? Do it show that I haven't been on it for awhile??? Shocked

Sorry, Jeffrey, we are told that no dogs or pets are allowed.
Its an insurance thing, and since we are covered by the Arts and Crafts show insurance, that's just how it is...

If you are a spectator, you can bring a dog, participants cannot.
