So I must be an idiot when I write this to you in my full name...no alias is used. I payed $40 for the shipping over seas, and $70 for the drawers. That was okey to me, because I have sold many parts to your country, and shipping are allways expensive, so $40 for such a big package is cool.
I have admitted that I made a misstake not telling you where to ship it...but why not ask for it? Do you want or need a reputation like this...buy parts from me, send me the money and fuck off!
Anal is the word !
So, get a life, Danny Boy...

I never once told Thomas I wasn't going to send him the difference in shipping. As for those of you who think I owe Thomas $100 refund for shipping, along with Clara, you're wrong. The part cost $70 and it would have cost $40 to ship to Europe. I already had the Westfalia drawers boxed and waiting before the payment came. After the payment came and there was no information as to where to send the package, it sat for almost 10 days without being shipped. I wanted to get this package off to this guy so he could get his parts. I thought I would be considerate so I sent them to his friend who sent the payment(with no information), that way his friend could ship them to him. I get these e-mails blaming me when I explained to him there was no information with the payment, he tried to put the blame on me. If I would have recieved payment with information, there wouldn't have been a problem. So all buyers reading this post, SEND INFORMATION WITH YOUR PAYMENT...even a phone number so you can be reached if there is any question/problem. The reason it took do long to send your refund is because I've been very busy. It was Pomona weekend but Monday morning, I will send a $30 refund of your shipping money to your friend, who sent payment without information.

Money order for the difference in shipping was sent on Monday, a total of $30. I always want everyone to be a repeat customer but you are one of those guys that no one can please. You and your friend sent payment with no information then you go on the samba and write something negative about me, by turning it around and making it lookm like it's my fault. anyone reading, when you buy something from someone and you send payment, always include information as to what you are buying and who you are...and you will never have this problem.

Hi Danny, oops I did have the numbers wrong. I thought he meant it was $110 for shipping, my bad. But the point was you shipped domestically when you were paid for overseas shipping, so a refund was due. I think it was okay for him to whine about the shipping cost. Ya he shoudl have sent you a email personally before posting something in the forums. But since you're a stand-up guy, you sent the refund.

Ya, no matter that I tell people to send info with payment, some just don't. I don't have psychic powers, and they should just make it easy on me, so I don't have to go dig through old emails which may or may not have the info I need. Yes with paypal payments as well as with payment through the mail. It happens to everyone and it's lame, but don't take it personally.

As always some people complain even when they are wrong and others do not complain even if they are right...
I bought lenses from Danny, they were shipped promptly and NOS as described.
I will buy more parts from Mr Hannover/Danny without any hesitation.

Yes, Danny...I have admitted I did a misstake (how many times have I written that now ? 3 ? )...understand me when I say that is not what this whole thing is about...and I´m not going to write that again.
No, you are right, you did not say you did not want to send me the diffrence, you just ignored my mails and said nothing !!! so what can I do, to you wake up? Post an official complain... here on the Forum.
I got answer and action...and Yes, my friend have recieved the $30 refund. Its not that I cant loose the tiny $30, its the way I lost them that makes me going.
You are probably right about one thing though, I will never deal with you again, and you are more than happy with that. ( not the right word )

Yes Clara, I was lame and sleeping. I will get my drawers some day and thats okey by me... I will never do this mistake again.

First of all everyone reading the thread heres the deal. When I sell parts to someone I want them to return and buy more parts and tell thier friends that I sell VW parts. This guy Tomas says I say send your money and then fuck you. Hes very wrong. He turns it around when him and his friend send payment without information and want to blame me for thier mistake. I sent the parts to his friend in the US because the parts where boxed and waiting to be shipped but I had no address to ship it to. I wanted him to get his parts right away. I've been selling parts for around 20 years and no matter what I do I will have to deal with guys like Tomas, people you can't make happy no matter what. Tomas says he won't buy from me again, well guess what? Someone else will buy the part and I'm better off selling my parts to someone else. I sell parts to all the vintage VW shops and stores in the Los Angeles area, who knows you could be buying parts from one of these vendors and the parts came from me. I sell parts I would use on my own cars. I'm into VWs 24/7. I drive a VW everyday. I wake up thinking VW and go to bed thinking VW. I know I can't make everyone happy but I try. I sure help alot of people with thier VWs and with parts for thier VWs and all these people seem to be happy with the parts they buy. Thanks to all the good VW people that buy parts and continue to buy parts from me.

Very Happy Bought new type2 windsheild from Danny with new seal installed and most importantly advice on how to install this correctly- I had to do a pick up from his residence 20 min away due to size of item . It was a Sunday and he was not hesitant to sell it to me and pick the part up and meet him at his place. This guy is one of those guys that truly lives and drives VW daily (he has a few daily drivers I saw) For baywindows he has quite some stuff listed and I really like some of the bumpers he has( on rare occassions I see them on excellent condition ) He has them ! So , thanks for the transaction and I do recommend him for parts. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

I've been buying parts from Danny for as long as I've been in the hobby. First at the swaps because the Internet didn't even exist, and also online. His parts are always what he says they are. He's always been fair and has never pulled any punches with me. He's also provided me with a lot of information over the years. Danny's a very knowledgeable VW enthusiast.

Unfortunately, thesamba doesnt track info for buyers and sellers like ebay does. So I include the ad# and part description in all email correspondence. I keep a tablet of what I order, the amount and date payment was mailed or sent via paypal, a description of the item, the ad # and the seller's samba id. If I send a money order pmt, I include a note with my full name and mailing address as well as the ad# and part description. Even though paypal sends the seller a "pmt received" notice with the buyer's mailing info, I still send a separate email with the info. When parts come in, I check them off the list. If the seller drops the ball then I get in touch and "remind" them. So far I have not had a problem with any seller on thesamba or I would have let loose in a post. This is a two-way street. Buyers need to assume some responsibility with any non-face-to-face transaction. CYA all the way!

BTW, I have no complaints about buying from Danny.
