Hey guys there has been a bunch of go kart interest here so I decided to put a poll up. If there is enough interested I am sure I can get Chris back to work on the project. He is a mold maker and plastics designer who loves dune buggies.
The body would be give or take the brown primer ones' style.
We would want to offer metalflake and I have the ability to get the
Meadowbrooke Metalflake the original Manx bodies were built with.
The question is of course what would be a price people would pay and is it feasible to produce them based on the demand.
So answer the poll please and let's see if we can get this going.
Thanks again
John

Size is Go-Kart adult will fit.
Golf car would be almost as wide a standard buggy.
5 seat Manx shown for size comparison only batteries not included.

I'd go $250 on one if shipping was reasonable. _________________ 71 LWB Manx style dunebuggy

I would love to have one, but I just don't care for the
metal flake gelcoat. If I could get one, I'd want to paint
it to match my buggy. Maybe offer them both ways. _________________ SOME MORNINGS IT'S JUST NOT

i would be interested. i have a body just like the brown body in the
pictures in my garage .green metal flake.
if you use a manco dingo go gart , single seat they work great with
little modifications they already have big wheels on back and little up front.
wheel base and width are real close.
if i could get one in the same metal flake as my real manx i would
buy one for sure. or painted would be ok.
i will try to send pictures of mine when i can dig it out from being buried
in the corner of the garage. |

I would color chioce would be somewhat limited but, solids are cheaper and easier to layup.
I would figure on a base model with just white gelcoat to paint your self.
And also a finished option in color for an upgrade.

where do I sign?
if the price is $250 and shipping doesn't kill me, put me down for one.
Primered please. And if you guys start to get serious, let me know in advance, so I can begin on a chassis for it to sit on.
BTW what are the dimensions for the chassis fab? Not wheelbase dimensions, just a layout of how the FG body lays on the chassis frame.
I may be ambitious enough to make a .pdf or CAD drawing of a simple chassis and /or full IRS.
I hope people show you enough interest, I would love this project for my kids. Plus I have two junk 4 wheelers just dying to give up their drive trains to a new project. Maybe I'll make one for myself. |

I have no intrest in just a body and the worring about building a project. I might be up for a complete mini Buggy with say a 8 HP engine if you could keep the price under $1K. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

what exactly are those bodies made to fit on? or do you need to make a complete custom fab frame? |

Let me be more clear.Yeah,I'd go $250 if you weren't shipping UPS.(I'd like to recieve it intact & without a second on the casa for shipping)! DHL would be sweet,or even "fed-hex"
My color preference would be Non metal flake Orange
But thats just me..... |

Looks like 20 out of 26 would be interested if we could price $250.
We will keep watching the poll as we try to determine if it's cost effective.
Thanks guys.
