That's got to be old, Greg! It's before there was a 650 area code!

Beautiful pics and tough busses.

I kept thinking about all the suckas that trailer their busses to all the shows and never actually drive them. I'm sure the folks in these pics are having huge FUN. Keep posting the killer photos!

This is on the Shafer Trail after descending on switchbacks a quarter mile straight down from the Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands in southern Utah. It's definitely the scenic route back to Moab from the park. This photo was just past the gate for the 100 mile White Rim Trail but it was locked & besides, I didn't have a camping permit. Has anyone done the White Rim Trail loop in a bus?
And yeah -- it's a camperized panel w/ deluxe sunroof transplant.

I thought about lowering my bus so she hugs the road better but these pictures are very convincing that that the normal height makes them more versatile. Looks like I will be able to take my bus anywhere, as my bus is getting her body work and being painted I have never even driven her since I purchased it this summer. How do you guys/gals keep them from rolling over and how are they in the snow, what should I add or change or check for good winter driving?

Get a good set of light truck 6-ply m/s all terrain tires and you should be good to go for winter driving. I wouldn't do anything to your bus suspension-wise until you've driven it stock height.

Why would you fix the body of a rusty Bus then drive it in the Snow/Salt ?

Here is the video I edited by oktr6r and slammedcamper57 of my split at Chandler in Tulsa. Yes, this is offroading, not just off the beaten path, but I figure some of you will really enjoy it, and all others who are afraid to live, drive and enjoy their buses will probably just piss their pants:

My son and I went out on a snake hunt in the "adventure wagon" as he calls it on Mount Agamenticus in Southern Maine.

I'm fixing the bent drag link right now and adding gussets. Got another camping trip this weekend to get ready for.

I got it with all the glass & interior removed for restoration and I figured while it was appart it was best to do it all now. I'm not putting an expensive paint job on it I just want to please the spouse so I can keep it if you know what I mean. As for me I would go with patina Laughing
She is having both rockers replaced as we speak. And the small section of cargo floor near the doors. I would just love to get to work if it snows a lot and it is nice to see they will do that. No garage queen here we love camping Cool
