He had a 58 panel that was sold last August sometime, in Missoula , MT. The panel was a runner and a local kid bought it but totaled it this winter in an accident.....bummer |

This came from Idaho or Montana? I recognize the road sign in the background.

Montana, took the picture on the way home to show my family how icy things were. Previous owner inherited the buses from his great uncle. He did a great job of keeping them in dry storage, it's in good shape and hope to have it running soon.
Not a samba find, craigslist. Just lucky I'm sure. |

thanks Thomas, by taking a closer look , looks like a scammer, on the feedbacks, he made a sale in oct 2012 and now 01/12/2013, he s doing the follow up on the feedback. and now he states the payment is due with 3 days and relisted the bus with a day and half...I wish more people would see this and NOT make the same mistake!! _________________ 1970 bettle

I have been keeping this on the down low for about 10 years even though I wanted to post it up in here... Never was succesful at getting the owner to budge off it and the place was pretty creepy. Now all of the sudden I see it for sale in the classifeds and it's in the middle of a walk thru conversion. Also saw it in the whines. Ah well, my only 23 field find so far. Guess the search continues..
This was buried back behind an old house in a neighborhood maze that a friend of the family let me know about. He said "one of those safari buses with the little windows"...yah right I thought, but followed him out to check it out. Imagine my surprise, first spotted it-
The house creeped me out. Just a little path worn to the front door. Every car up on bricks. Felt like I could be shot at any moment and the neighbor friend felt the same.
There was a field behind it so we circled around back- Had a little fence to keep the goats out of it. Original rims laying around it in the dirt and it was sitting on rocks!

Guess you can't get all of them! |
