Hi Geoff,

I will try to fly in at the end of this year for a another road trip with the Heb Rod Cool

If all goes according to plans, it will come back early in 2010
(january or february). Very Happy

Do you plan a trip to Europe yourself as well?

Not that much really Very Happy

only small cosmetic stuff like fitting the right external mirror or finding a way to affix the french mandatory front plate...

Details, but they are so important, especially on this kind of car... Cool

If all goes according to plan, it will attend the Volksworld show and then the Essen show but after that I don't know for sure.

Hello madfrog and geoff, I have been a fan of your car since I first saw it( I think in ultra VW), One of very FEW good looking volksrods. Great to hear it's going to Europe. I don't want to be nosy, but as I'm heavily into old Rods and Modifieds, I'd like to know the plans how to register it in France. I've seen a few 2CV and Citroen and even a Renault Rod but I guess it's as hard to register as in any continental European state ?!
I really don't want to spoil your thread with it, but I buildt a modified roadster pickup from a 1964 beetle body and trying any legal step to get it on the road officially.

greetings from Austria
Guenter

There will be some french/belgium/german VW meeting in the agenda but not sure about which... Any ideas?

It is the big Essen Classic Car Show (Technoclassica?) in april.
