That paintwork is amazing. It looks so rich in colour, even though it is black. Incredible.

Yesterday I was VERY lucky to be able to see the marriage with my own two eyes and make a "few" pics.
Thanks you Grundmann family!

Well done. It's been an amazing journey that you've taken us all through.

Thankyou and well... wow! I'm looking forward to our next trip to Germany so we can pop in and see the car in the flesh again.

Amazing photos! Thank you very much for uploading. I really enjoyed.

This photo, to me, it´s the best. Great finish on the front fenders:

What an amazing afternoon it was yesterday. Cool Thanks for the invitation!
The "marrage"of the 38, here I'm next to the VW38 directly after the body got united with the chassis for the first time - an historical moment it was!

More pics will follow asap, this one I uploaded on my facebook page yesterday:

Final proof that the poor little red thing in Lithuania went to the right people - bar none! What you have achieved without pouring endless amount of money into the project, american style. (not that I think it has been "kostenlos", but still far from Pebble beach) Amazing! Congratulations!

I am so used to the WWII era pictures. Its striking to see the car in color and detail. Amazing work. Please continue to share pictures as the details come together. I am particularly excited to see the differences between the prototype and production interiors.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The VW38 is/was shrouded in so much secrecy because the only 2 surviving are owned by wolfsburg and the restoration was never really seen. Where as this one, the third, every detail was shown, all of the differences were shown too, all of its secrets revieled to the world..It almost looks out of place, like a color picture (well HD color picture) from 1938 was taken and placed in Herr. Grundmann's garage. So perfect, in every way!
