I took that picture on the way back from a 3200 mile trip to norway in the '69 bug I used to have..
We drove over 600 miles that day and saw 4 ghia's (incl. this one) and a barndoor ambulance!
How cool is that! _________________ www.volksfahrer.nl

Cardinal Red. Love that color

Here is my all original 1959 Pearl white Karmann Ghia cabriolet that I recently purchased (one of the last ones built). I plan to keep it unrestored and show it next to my 1958 Cardinal red Karmann Ghia cabriolet (one of the first ones built) that has been fully restored. Fully restored versus all original, which would you choose? |

in terms of lowlight Cabs, this one is probably top of the tree for me so far
european car, so original interior has survived really well
& it has been looked after - no welding necessary, apparently
just a couple of details to correct (ie wheels centres should be a light colour - silverbeige i think)
looked even better before the recent repaint _________________ -StockRocks- |

RockStock - what's the deal with this car? I forget where I found this photo, and I'm not sure why I labeled it 'ghia with okrasa' - I recall it being somewhere like Sweden? Do you have the link to the website? |
