Does anyone have any pix or info about these wheels???
I saw pix here @ the Samba under a splitty, but can't find them 
Found a complete set and was curious about them: manufacturer, rare-ness, value...

Those wheels are American Racing, and there are afew sets for sale in the classifieds now, look to average about $450 ish a set.

Actually they are American Eagle same people that make the repro 5 spoke empis. I would have to say $450 is kinda high ya think? I remember when nobody even wanted them they were like $59 each on the shelf.

Thanks for the correction Skim, I just saw that on mine, had them off today. $450 + is to high, though that what people seem to be asking in the classifieds.... I've been watching, I need just one!

People might be asking that price, but I don't think anyone's buying them. Those things were pennies when they were new. Now that American Eagle has discontinued manufacturing them, some sellers tend to think that now the wheels are reaching rare status.

I've been selling them for $120.00 ea. shipped so $450.00 isn't really too far off in price it sounds like the going price to me & I sell ALOT of those rims here and overseas but for more because of shipping !!! You can honestly find a single or even a whole set from someone who doesn't think much of it for cheap !!! if you look hard enough. I've bought about 3 or 4 of them for $10.00ea. over the year's here on the samba but you gotta be quick and beat us seller's to the prize (pretty much just live on the Samba). Good luck !
