Very cool BRM replicas Follow this link:
http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC%2DC10%2D6628
I think they would look soooo cool on my white Westy! Plus they are only 5.5 inches wide which will help me still be able to steer my non-power steering equipped Vanagon
What do you guys think? |

Check with Flat four performance.. they are the ones who make the wheels(a sub-group of EMPI). They also make them in a 16x6 made specifically for the new beetle. I have not yet seen them on a vanagon, but they fit on an old bug like they were made for them... _________________ '69 bug--rusty as hell

Maybe contact can be gotten with Flat Four and we see what kind of wholesale or group buy can be made? In the last weeks I have spent over $5K on this and that and the purchase of this bus, so I do not know if it is in the budget. Wife questions why I would want to change wheels if the steel ones we have are still round. |

i have looked into this also and found that the flat four wheels will work if you change out the brakes for ones with a 5x100mm bolt spacing....just to get you wondering i was thinking of audi TT brakes on mine with the 17inch BRMs.... |

That would only be for the 17" ones...I just want the 15" ones in the 5x112 bolt pattern. I am taking the wife to Hawaii in August...so maybe that is enough buttering up for her to not mind me dropping the $ on new wheels and tires that I really don't need. Anybody want to buy my stock wheels and hubcaps with nearly new LT radials?? |

What sort of tire would you run on the 15" x 5.5" faux BRMs that would not jack up the final drive ratio and support the weight?
Just curious. |

Interesting. I wonder if they would fit well on my 15 x7 alloys? I would imaginne they would. I have 215/65/15 on there now. |

Those Ronals look like nice wheels. No question about ratings and what not about those. If you can get 15 inch fitment starting at $900, why bother with other wheels, unless you find nice used wheels for cheap, then it makes sense.
My wife, too, wonders why I want to change wheels, when the ones we have are still round. |
