Looks like it could be a fairly solid bus from what you can see |
I tried to buy this 3 weeks ago. I think the ad is bogus. No one ever replied. |
maybe he sold it really quick and hasn't taken the ad down. I rarely take my ads down on craigslist and once I sell I stop answering emails. |

Yes, we do. Leaving up ads of items already sold is selfishly wasting other peoples' time... |

Not that it matters, but it depends on where the ad is posted: https://www.craigslist.org/about/help/posting_lifespans |

Thanks for that information, I did not know they had changed that.
7 days though... that is ridiculous. I guess that's why I see reposts on craigslist so much. _________________ How to Post Photos

I'll bet he's had five or six different people who have sent him money hoping to land the bus. I'm surprised he's using paypal though. A request for a wire transfer probably would be too suspicious. As is usually the case, if it seems too good to be true, it likely is... |

I don't see those as a noob purchase at all- the seller's been a member here for 12 years- he knows what he's doing, caus ehe knows this... The only buyer for those wants two things: metal and titles. It's likely a fair deal- I know two buses that could benefit from clean titles and new front ends. _________________

I actually meant myself as the noobs, potentially grabbing these. I'd be interested in hearing if you guys think these are just parts buses or two that can be salvaged for restorations. I know it would be a rough go, but think the later would definitely be worth the challenge. |

Early 65 (clamshells, metal buttons), mostly complete (missing rack, rear bumper, child cot) but those rockers are toast and I'd be concerned about other areas
considering it's an East Coast bus. No motor, unknown trans/brakes.
I hope they inspected it in person or I think they are in for some surprises. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |

I think the only surprise is going to be how nice it is when it's cleaned up. |
