WoW!
Sometime 69 is when they started using fractions of miles in the speedo. So if that is stamped /69 that means that as far as we know it is ALL '68 and some '69. _________________ Wash your hands

What is the date on that 69 speedo? Low odo speedo stopped in very early 69, I think. Maybe even late 68 production. _________________ nothing |

Not really as they used these same symbols around the same time on T3s. Id get it just because its not common - rare? Not so much _________________

I don't remember but the clock is a July of 68 and the bus is a October 68 build. _________________ 1971 Deluxe Sunroof Bay 1905 stroker, dual idf40's, 74mm Scat forged crank, engle 110 cam. CB 044 heads, AutoCraft rockers, chromoly push rods

Can we try to keep this thread on track, for "rarest of the rare" stuff?
I admit I get frustrated when I see a new post to it, hoping to see something interesting, and it is just another post in some conversation that two or three people are having, with little to do with the rare stuff.

My first 69 Clipper-L sunroof bus had the same cluster. I would have to check my other early bays to see if they have them. I believe the even earlier bays had the colors with no indicator symbols at all. I have a few color only cluster pods on my trinket shelf.
Here is the gauge set from my last Clipper which was a Euro bus.

I've got a 69 riviera (which is basically a 69 deluxe) but it has the colored symbols and MPH.

Sorry but you can't know if it's rare without asking about it. |

Please do not misunderstand. I am all for posting of rare or potentially rare items. What I tire of is conversations between users that offer nothing of value to the thread. That should just go to PM.
Darn - Now I am guilty of the same thing! Argh! Except that I hope that this will add value to the thread by keeping down on the cruft. _________________ John
