It's so hard for me to be a passenger in my bus....I think that whoever is driving is going to crash it or something..haha ..makes me a nervous wreck That being said there is nothing better than sitting in the back seat of my 23 window with the sunroof open being driven around like I am some dignitary.

I find it also hard to hand over the wheel... but I know my wife also really enjoys driving the bus. And by giving her that special feeling from time to time, she let's me spend more cash on the car Laughing

ps: sorry for my poor english, as I am dutch speaking-belgian.

sweet video of your '60! Did you have YouTube stabilize the video? It always makes it kind of weird looking. Hope to see more of your videos as well.

Thanks.
I think that is his own creation. Just two Westy jalousie windows hacked in.

damn, I would love to live in the US! If you see those Arizona roads... what a landscape. Compared to Belgium! Here, if you drive 180 miles, you're allready in an other country...

That is a VW's only camping weekend I host each Labor Day weekend in northeast Missouri, called "Buses Nowhere Near the Arch". We just hosted our 28th one! I lease the whole lakeside campground on 22 mile long Mark Twain Lake for the entire four day holiday weekend, and restrict access to only Volkswagens. Lots of fun! Nothing but Volkswagens of all types and eras camping throughout the area.

Thanks Culley for posting up the video! I'm usually so busy during the weekend that I don't get to take photos or pictures, so I enjoy seeing everyone else's take on the event.

Sorry to hear about your bus engine woes...are you putting together a used motor? maybe pool your money and get a new one. It will be worth the piece of mind knowing you won't be stranded.

Here are a few fun little family videos we made out on the Coco Forest in Northern Arizona. My eldest son was doing a multimedia class in school, so I helped him with editing, but let him cut and select a bunch, and work with the speed of the film. I was the stunt driver. The spider won. Just fun.
