Does anyone out there have a photo of a cargo net installed with everything complete?

I recently found a cargo net for my 68 Hardtop camper and have the same question. Anyone have a closeup pic of the hardware that holds the cargo net? I may have them floating in my box of misc parts or I may have to fabricate something that resembles stock.

Thanks.

... I mounted my cargo net to the underside of the linen shelf. I only had two of the original clamps, so I have committed sacrilage( Rolling Eyes ) and attached the rest of the frame with wire loom holders, the metal loop type deals with a rubber lining in the I.D.

I searched my gallery, but no luck.

The metal frame is probably about 3/16"AL rod. Very flexible! The mounting brackets are about 1" long and kinda "u" shaped. 2 brackets screw into the side closet. 2 go directly into the sheet metal above the side window and 1 goes in the middle of the curved piece of wood in the rear. With the clips installed, the frame snaps right in and is held in place by the spring tension of the clips.

If you need, I can take some close up pics.

all side clips are the same, the only oddball is the rear one.

Perfect. Thanks. I have the metal frame and net but looks like I am going to have to fabricate the clips.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I was wondering if someone who has one of these nets could take some more pictures with goal in mind of DIYing my own net.

My clips are still intact, but I always wondered what they were for. I didn't get the net with the Bus. It looks like a pretty simple design. Aluminum rod around 3 sides and some stretch cord across the front.

I can't tell what the corners look like in the pictures already posted.
What is the diameter of the metal rod?

This looks like it would provide some valuable extra storage area, so I'd really like to get a net made.

Thanks in advance for any help.
