If you need information about this car please send me a note. I used to own it and recognize both the car and trailer. It was FV #13 in the SCCA-SFR region for 12 years before I sold it.

That thing is so cherry, it's amazing. Great shot of the rear suspension innovations as well. Wish I had room and funds for one myself.

The car was designed in Marblehead, MA by chassis designer Bill Woodhead (my uncle). It used a revolutionary new rear suspension called a zero-roll stiffness rear suspension. It used a single oversize shock across the top of the swingarms, which were articulated, and allowed the drive wheels to remain perfectly perpendicular to the pavement regardless of side forces The front suspension was forced to control the body roll by itself, but gave the car better cornering traction. That helped the car become a very successful performer, although that entire market collapsed shortly after, when the major car manufacturers pulled out of that race category. At the time, though, I think Autodynamics was the largest race car manufacturer in the US.
